Spade Grips / Ring Control Handles

More questions. Attached are images of further spade grips – my latest aqusitions. First appears to be Hawker Biplane but with a modification. Specific type, or just a general mod? Second I assume to be Sea Fury. Marked N270? Could this also be wartime Tempest? I’m also looking at a spade grip marked AH2040. Brass buttons but no brake lever attachments. Hurricane or just Harvard?

The stainless grip is a Hawker bipe….something like a Hind, Fury, Demon…..the second fits to many types including the Sea Fury…need the AH number to be more specific

The D-Type grip shown here with this type of Guns/RP firing button was used on Mk22/24 Spitfires, Sea Furies, and Vampire F1-FB9. This looks a very nice example.

With a slightly altered switch fit, it was also used on Meteor T.7’s and the Gannet.
