This month’s Flypast carried the news that the 82nd would no longer be jumping due to the “Georgia Crisis”.
Is this confirmed? Seemed more than a little premature to me (for the US to cancel), even more so for Flypast to put it into print.
By the way, it’s this weekend…

The C17 wasn’t available due to the Hurricane commitments in the U.S. This prevented the 82nd Airborne from being able to attend. The show today apart from glorious sunshine boasted Buchon and Spitfire XVI combo-Spitfire PR.XI from North Weald -Mustang ‘Janie’ and the BBMF Dakota amongst others making it a superb day.

Maybe the troops are needed to stop the Russians crossing into Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and both North and South Carolina. 😀
