So you have went out and recovered a boat load of Kawasaki Ki-61 Tonys while doing the restoration you decide to look into rebuilding one of the Tonys as a Ki-100 with a radial engine.
So my question is this would you do this or would you not.
As for me I think I would go ahead and have one rebuild as a Ki-100-III this was the cut down rear fuselage with the all around canopy sort of the Jap version of the P-51D.

jerry’s ki61 and 3 others have under restoration for a couple of years now hopefully the first one should fly in the next few years

I couldn’t help noticing that Jerry Yeagen has a ‘Tony under restoration already!!- never seen THAT news in a magazine!

may be wangaratta can be convinced (if i won the lottery)to do one as they have most of the jiggs already

i read somewhere that the ki84 was designed to use the production jiggs of the ki43 sooo could a new build ki84 be built from the jiggs the texas aircraft factory made for their new build ki43’s? if so i’ll have one of them to,that’ll put the cats amonst the pidgeons:dev2:
