Yes sorry,you can see as far down as Jerbourg…got a bit disorientated!
If the picture had been a bit clearer we could of seen the chimneys down at the Electricity plant at Northside.However,the eye-shaws are now being demolished as they are not needed due to the fact we are now joined to France’s electricity grid.

Yes, we would trundle down the west coast at 1000′ decelerating from 250knots back to about 140 and left turn near the cup and saucer for R09. In this picture you can see the whole east coast past St Sampsons, Belle Greve, St Peter Port. The farthest point is Jerbourg.

Its a stunning picture,i’ve always wanted to see my island from the air but have never been lucky enough.The only pictures I saw were taken from a Lufthansa 737 when they used to do the Frankfurt charters,but it was clouded over 🙁
I take it from the pucture you must be landing over the west coast and over St Pierre Du Bois and then on to the airport!
