I just couldn’t resist this beauty…so here it is, the sleak and stunning 707 in the RJ c/s.

Thanks Saab 2000.
It looks a lot better in this picture than it does up close.

Galdri,
Here is a picture of the machine for you.
You will be pleased to hear it is leaving the fleet soon for an A310F.

I think the one your talking about is the 707 cargo ship of RJ that a feature was done on a while back in AirlinerWorld?

Correct saab 2000.
It was the White Ghost as we jokingly called it. Youยดve seen pictures of it, I gather. Not a pretty sight ๐

You probably saw the old white one Galdri? I’ve seen pictures of it and I can see what you say!

Well, I must say this one looks a LOT better than the one they were using on the daily Cargo run from Jordania down to Dubai last spring. What a horrible piece of junk!! It was usually parked on the stand next to ours, and looked like it was falling apart just standing there. Sure needed some TLC. And the NOISE it made on departure at 0400 in the morning was TREMENDOUS. Noise abatement what????

Yes very nice. The RJ c/s is so sleak and gives such a posh look to the aircraft that it adorns.
The 707 is also a favourite of mine. I’m currently collecting 707 models, only have 2 at the moment, a NW in the 1960/70’s c/s, and a BA in the 1970’s c/s.
Hope to get some more in the near future. ๐
