Two PH forts we found at Speke some while ago and dumped in the undergrowth until this week when they were recovered, one will remain at Speke to hopely form part of some heritage atraction/viewing park the other has been delivered for display at the RAF Millom Aviation & Military Museum were it is available for viewing from today.
Thanks to the Roy from the Jetstream Club for his help.

If I can find the pictures there are a couple large ones still dotted around at speke as well…..
And of course the old Blenheim gun butt can still be seen from the old apron 😀

Cor, well done, we were looking for PH pillboxes for ages and you’ve found two!
Well saved….
Should we form a Pillbox-owning-museum-splinter-group?!

The pits are lost along with the hydraulics, no one can remember were they came from and they are not marked on the airfield plan. Probably built over by now.
We have located one damaged outer out on the airfield at Millom, was dug up when they built the school boy moto x track, we will try to bring the bits together at some point.
