I just came across this photo of MK297 as N1882 in the summer of 69. As I can’t remember having seen many photos of this Spitfire in those markings/ registration I thought people here might find it interesting as well.

Very interesting.
Still in BoB film livery on arrival at the Confederate Air Force for flight testing, prior to re-paint in the Douglas Bader markings.
