Spifire PS915

Hi. Down at coningsby yesterday and was kindly given
a flight in the Dakota, i took these of PS915 in it’s new
paint job.My first ever air to air—:D

Paint Shop – Cheating?

Voy Tech,

Give me a couple of hours and I am sure I could have it as an air to air. 😉

But seriously what a wonderful tool this is, used sensibly, to extend those precious wartime shots where the ‘Box Brownie’ clipped the nose cone or the rudder.

It brings the old and skilled art of ‘air brushing’ in to the hands of amateurs.

Mark,
Was this not an infringement of the tractor owner’s right to have his tractor featured in your photo?
I am seriously concerned that with the skills you have just displayed, I will have to take a cautious look at your photo scans in the future.

Phil,

Yes – Duxford, but with a bit of digital surgery to remove two chock pullers, two tractors, the refueling man and a towing bar. 🙂
