MH434 ‘under the bridge’
There’s a photo of Ray Hanna doing the bridge stunt in a 1988 issue of Flypast magazine (which I still have lying around somewhere!) and in the excellent book “How They Made Piece of Cake”.
If I could work my F*****G scanner, I’d scan it in and send it!!!

I’ll blame Moggy for giving me duff info. 😉 😀
Cool pic btw. Great to see some original material. One of the reasons why I read this forum. Keep the photos coming!

Here is a shot of MH434 at Hornchurch in March 1944 for fans of this Spitfire. Photo is by Bill Burge who flew a few missions with her with 222 Sqd.

Ah 434 🙂 Black and white gives it character. Makies the picture smaller in sizer too so better for posting.
Anyone got a cap of Mark Hanna going under the bridge in “Piece of Cake”?

Yeah it was in colour, but I decided to try out the black and white function on my scanner… a bit of variation testing. :p
