Evening all
I am aware that the Mark VII had the undercarriage master switch fitted next to the magneto switch.
My query is what subsequent marks had this switch fitted? Was it any mark with a retractable tail wheel? Did the PR XI have this fitted?
Additionally, when did the supercharger panel change from the triple version (indicator, switch and push button) to the double variant (switch and indicator) please?

I thought I read somewhere that they were used from Mark IX onwards but I’m no expert. The Pilot’s Notes would be the place to start I guess as there’s usually a panel layout photo in each. I certainly have one for my Seafire XV panel project. Spitfire panels are so variable when you start to look at them and restored examples have to be viewed with an open mind! Supercharger panels were gone by the time of my Seafire XV and again, the Pilot’s Notes would be a good start for that one.
