The question is : when will we see a Spit XII airworthy ? What about the remaining airframe EN224 ? 41 Sq or 91 Sq markings ?
I became fond of the XII some years ago and I’ve pinpointed some crash-sites in northern France . At least one R&R Griffon III is still buried , maybe another one located. It would be interesting to dig up and find the short engine bearers peculiar to XIIs for example.
Is there a XII enthusiast online ?

No, this must be a coincidence…
BTW, good to see you here, Laurent.

Someone say Spitfire XII?
EN224 was EB-L with 41 Squadron. I’m assuming she’ll be back in those markings. Spit XII has been a passion for the last, I hate to admit, 25 years when I decided to go hunting for all I could find. 🙂
I got my first reply from a Spit XII pilot to an Air Mail request for info on the XII on my wedding day. I’m not sure which was more exciting, but it was 24 years ago this August 20th and the marriage is still great, so I guess it all worked out for the best 🙂

Hi Laurent welcome to the forum, I have an interest in the XII as a number were lost around the Channel Islands, I have found this website and especially Steve Brew very helpful.
