spitefire profile

i have a spitefire profile by keith broomfeild sighned by the airman of the 19 squadron in excellent order. framed since purchase also framed is the names of the 19th squadron. my late father purchased the pint at the RAF museum in london some 30 years ago anyone interested please contactbloomfield pictures

I’m told that a Battle of Britain veteran’s signature is generally regarded as being worth £10 to the price of a print etc. Obviously the more famous names will command higher prices, and the number of signatories on it who are no longer with us will also affect the price.

I saw something similar at an auction here in Jersey, a 1980 40th comemorative BoB signed Hurricane print. The list price was £40 – £60. I finally backed out at £170 and it went to a local Lovejoy for £180.
