Happy belated birthday wishes! Hopefully the cake was less than 70 years old. 😉

This Spitfire model looks like one of those fake clocks Spitfireman is knocking out, did you find any metal fragments/clockwork parts in it? belated Birthday greetings !!:)

2. Roundel Police. The cake is definitely ex RAAF and ‘returned to country of origin’ on the customs forms. Example of roundel here:-

What roundel?

Hope you had a good one Peter.

Frame 5/firewall. Enough for a re-bake………. as opposed to re-build! 😀

Will it be in the “Spitfire Survivors Cook-Book”?

If you think that is scantily clad, you have lived a sheltered life, 😉 I bet she gets walked all over, she’ll get piles on all that cold metal. :p

Very many thanks for all your kind greetings. 🙂

To clear up a couple of issues raised in this thread.

1. Due to foreseen circumstances the cake will definitely not be at ‘Leg-ends’ and even ‘Cockpitfest’ is now looking slim.

2. Roundel Police. The cake is definitely ex RAAF and ‘returned to country of origin’ on the customs forms. Example of roundel here:-

In posting this I have just noticed a scantily clad model on the wing and unfortunately she is just a bit too much for my photoshop skills to remove.

Regards,

Mark

Congrats, hope you have a good one And many more to come.

lucky you didn’t have 70 candles on it, you would have been beaten back by the flames and needed a fire ex to blow them out 😀

many congrats, is that 700 or have i mis-read it lol.

Yes…there was a misunderstanding. It should be 700…as in Form 700, obviously. There is no possibility that Mark12 is anything over 50.
