Spitfire armour?

I’ve had this kicking around at school for a long time (to compare amongst other things against A10 titanium) and thought it was from one of two Spits in South Wales. Pulling it out of the cupboard for Tony I have my doubts. Any ideas?

I shall set the children to it in the morning. Victorian school, that’s the way forward.

Could do with a bit of a clean and a polish …………….. and when you’ve done your shoes the armour would buff up

Thanks Tony! Bit of a problem then as to where it came from. There is a ‘Definately’ Spit sheet back at aunt Philippa’s but I won’t be able to get it until after the weekend. This is from an eighties dig. Will have to consult the notes…
