Pleasant surprise at work yesterday, Tuesday. HAC’s MKV Spit BM597 arrived at Farnborough airport. It was here as part of the grand opening of the shiny new terminal by HRH Prince Andrew.
They wheeled it into one of the sexy wavy hangars to act as background to the VIP’s having lunch. Not entirely sure what the relevance of having it here was but the aircraft looked great parked between a Global Express and Falcon 2000 – big bizjets to those who may be wondering. We got a nice flypast in the afternoon too. Thanks to the pilot – think it was Charlie Brown -for this.
Of course guess who forgot to bring camera into work! 😡
