On Saturday, our evening meal was interrupted by the sounds of a Merlin engine. Dashing outside, we were treated to the sight of a Spitfire performing a series of spirited flypasts in the late sunshine somewhere to the south of Hemel Hempstead. It went on for about 5 minutes, before departing to the north-east.
Can anyone confirm which Spit it was, and where and why it was displaying?

I’m pretty sure P7350 was the 1 i saw over Watford. Probably doing the Bentley Priory display.

Probably an outdoor proms concert – look in your local paper a few nights back and see if there was an advert for one?

I think it was ML407, but who knows why it was displaying
