They wouldn’t fly her with the door missing – can’t shut the canopy properly 😉

The only flying Spit with the door “missing” is the Pr.XIX….

Edit: Confirmed by Alan Walker himself, it was a light fumble as the two position latch slipped passed the second gate, no drama. The first gate, partially opening and retaining the canopy in the open position, being the position for landing.

The AL-W codes are for the pilot Alan Walker and were taped on as a bit of fun to do with Cliff Spink’s initials on his Mk XVI.
