Both TE517 and SM639 held in ‘storage’ in the south of England by seperate English owners.
As for the BMFB..also known as Mr Creosote in certain quarters, no relation to the forum member of the same name!

MV262 and TE517 both owned by an American, stored in the UK, I think – unless it has changed recently.
I thought TE517 was sold back in 2005…to an English party.
First sight of MV262. February 1976.

can any kind souls put a mad mind to rest, can anybody shred some light on this Spitfire MV262/G-CCVV last known at Booker intact & on it’s wheels ??
ergo what state is Spit XVI SL611 tea chest or fuselage, any thoughts would be welcome
