Do you know who was flying the Buchon.
Septic.
Cliff Spink, director of Spitfire Ltd. Getting back into the swing of Buchon flying after a 7 year break and boy was he happy after flying it for the first time on Thursday[/QUOTE]
By the way they came across the airfield at Wyton it didn’t look like it took him too long to get back into it. Hopefully we will see alot more of cliff flying the Buchon in 07.

Saw the Spit flying yesterday while I was passing through. Lovely, just lovely 😀
I assume it was JR at the controls and what a display as I had trouble looking where I was going and the bloke behind had the hump too :diablo:
Great pictures Darren as always.

92fis,
Cricky that picture is very good, very atmospheric.
Thanks Stewart, having got up at 5am and been at work since 6am until 6:30pm and then having to get ready to drive for 2.5 hours i couldn’t be bothered to do much with it apart from resize it and only now going to bed at 1:15am i thought I’d leave it to Darren to show it off in his pictures. 😉

It was a lovely flypast, didn’t have my camera with me when they both came over but i managed to catch the Buchon departing. The spitfire looks great.

Yep, it was the 109 and MkV Spitfire. Pictures will be posted this weekend, so be patient!

Brian
It was JG891 and the Buchon up from Dx.
Duxman
Thanks Duxman, I thought it was JG891 but wasn’t sure. Following its run and break the 109 spent the afternoon on the ground at RAF Wyton.
Taken with my Z1 3mp camera at full zoom and piccies cropped so not top quality
