Spitfire Helmet-Cam Air Display, and DH Vampire Formation

I’ve found that learning to edit a video can be a VERY slow process. But here’s what I came up with.

This was shot at St. Thomas last June. I was not allowed to do aerobatics — the aircraft was new out of the restoration shop and there hadn’t been time for my accreditation — so I had to come up with a non-aero display that still showcased the aeroplane.

It is huge fun to do this in a Spitfire. I am spoiled forever.

Thanks. Here’s a bit of raw footage from a work-up flight last spring, with a much better landing.
