Thanks Qld Spitty. Do you know the approx. distance between the gunsight and the pilot/chair? Know that I know that my RC-Spit is out of scale I don´t need an exact distance.

Hi. I have now find some measuring for the panel. According to Qld Spitty here, the panel is 19.4″ high with the width of 32.69″. This mean in scale 1/5, 98.5mm x 166.1mm So I think that the guy who dod my Spit didn´t have the right
background information when he created the Spit. Well, least I know now…. Tyried to attach a picture of my panel but I don´t know the URL?? I took a picture with my cellphone.
Another question: I will equipe my Spit with the gyroscopic gunsigth, but I´m having problems finding some measuring regarding the position towards the pilot and the bracket, anyone here knows?

Why not post a photo of the panel. This is a Mk1 the fuelage is just the thickness of the metal skin wider.

My panel is 16,1cm. Now I´m woundering if the designer of the Spitfire kit have made the fuselage to small…….. or, is the panel streching out from side to side with no
gap to the fuselage sides?

I would suggest that your 1/5 scale instrument panel should be just under 17cm max. Spitfire width at that point didn’t vary from Mk I to Mk XVI
