Nice to see SL721 a Mk XVI in the background – my father crated her at Blackbushe & then re-assembled her in ’77 for Woodson K Woods at Pheonix, Az.

I moved to Phoenix in ’79 as a youngster and have many fond memories of SL721 as well as TE308, both owned by Woods at the time. I’m sure my love of Spitfires, which continues to this day, can be traced back to my contact with these two birds during those formative years. Would be nice to see TE308 back on the circuit. (And I would love to see SL721 back in her blue colors!) Sorry for the thread drift gents but can’t help a stroll down memory lane once in a while.
