Spitfire "K5054" in First of the Few

It’s a well-known fact that Jeffrey Quill flew a Spitfire mocked up to look like K5054 for the filming of First of the Few, but has it ever been confirmed as to which airframe it was?

A rather surprising question to see in a Forum, I suggest, because this has been talked about for many years.  Some years ago I was able to check directly with the Wikipedia source who owns JQ’s Log Book.

The answer in Wikipedia is 100% faithful to the log book entry by JQ himself.  Nothing further is added so the specific questions as to whether it was a two blade or three blade ‘prop’ just isn’t recorded in the Log Book. Nor is the Mark II serial number given.

So we must speculate for ever more about these two details, unless ……….?

Long time since I saw the fim but does it actually fly in the film with the 2 bladed prop? I know its gets shown on the ground, but was it flown? No shortage of Mk1’s about then to stick on a dummy prop.

I guess the answer would be in Quill’s logbook, wherever that is. Also, might he have mentioned it in one of the books he wrote?
