The only news on K9851, is it has been moved into a new cardboard box, as the old one has rotted away….

The main reason is that we have lost a number of contributors who were close friends to some of the posters here. It gets a bit odd suddenly seeing a dead friend apparently posting again.
If the post adds something fresh to the thread, answers a question on it or whatever, it is liveable with. In this case starting a fresh thread would have been no great effort.
Not a big issue, just a courtesy we request.
