Alec Ailson or as I call him Mr Aussie Spitfire, has many Spitfire projects here in Australia. However in Spitfire Survivors its noted that MD338 a Mk.VIII has its Frame 5 and Firewall at Airframe Assemblies Ltd at Sandown. I assume it has either left or more work is being done. Any one in the UK able to enlighten me.
Alec also has other projects anyone able to provideany updates on the other projects.

Alec Wilson has collected quite a bit of Spitfire stuff, but I believe his project(s) are very much on the back burner these days.
