Spitfire meet?…

hi,
let the family go to Padstow this pm,just returned and… just missed by ZD574 Chinook taking off, at St. Mawgan,then passed Spitfire at end of runway and it had a mate over to visit…any details?

Sadly, Graham had run out of Wurthers Originals by this stage and had to send out for more……;)

There is a show this weekend at Newlyn East (4 miles away) and the second Spitfire will be attending. Sometime tomorrow, a convoy of WWII vehicles and the Spitfire will do a ‘run to the sun’ around Newquay to advertise.

Special guest star will be the forums very own Graham Adlam with his Willys Jeep. He will be handing out free Wurthers originals to any one over the age of 30 who use the phrase ‘that is the best looking Spitfire I’ve ever seen’.

Hmmm, wonder if that was the Chinook that just (~1840hrs) flew along the River Camel, from Camelford -> St. Breward, below the level of our cottage!!!!!
Wasn’t quick enough witht he camera…:(
