Has anyone got any drawings or good pictures of the rounded type Spitfire mirror please? Is the stalk adjustable or fixed need some good pictures or drawings of that if possible? Thanks

Graham, as Iam sure your up to your neck making stuff already it may help to know that supermarine in Aus. sells an exact reproduction mirror with mount. If you need the link just pm me.

I have this origional spitfire one including all the brackets that go inside the mirror and part of the stork just been dropped at little from 20,000ft which may be of use:rolleyes:

Happy new year Graham, here are some photos of the mount from a Mk 1. A little worse for wear but with all the important sizes. I think this is for the rectangular mirror rather than the round but the footprint is probably the same. You’re welcome to measure it, as the actress said to…..etc. All the best, Ian.

Graham, stalk is fixed and cast integrall with the base plate (I thought you were the person people bought them from 😀 ). I recall someone posted some drawings recently so a search may help. The nice chaps in Stoke sell newly cast stems for a reasonable price.
