Spitfire MJ827 mystery

Spitfire IX MJ827, according to 403 ORB, crash-landed in Normandie 9 June 1944. Pilot Bill Williams survived, but badly injured.

However, some sources place MJ827 with the Norwegians on 9 June 44 (more specifically with Sqdr Leader Lundsten).

It is easy to get confused here, as it is listed as lost 9 June due to friendly fire – a fate that happened to both pilots on the same day at basically the same time (Lundsten over Utah, Williams over Omaha).
Difference is Williams survived while Lundsten perished.

MJ827 did serve with 331, but it looks like it did go to 403 Sqd.

33MU 22-12-43 331S 31-1-44 403S CE ops shot down by US Navy AA fire off Omaha beach 9-6-44

331 Sqd ORB for June 1944 is rather sloppy and no serial numbers listed. I was led to believe Lundsten flew MK121 as former Sqd Ldr Austeen flew MK121 as ‘Y’, but this one left the Norwegians one day prior to 9 June 44).

Which leads me to belive Lundstens log book (listing ‘Y’ on 9 June) is wrong.

As to end on an eerie note, Lundsten flew MJ827 himself on 22 Feb 1944. Which means (if I am right) a Spitfire he had previously flown suffered nearly an identical fate at the same time as he was shot down himself.

Question is, what Spitfire did he fly on 9 June if not MJ827?

Edit: Think I can conclude it was FN-M MK966
