Spitfire Mk 14. RM617.

Hello again everyone,

I recently asked for help in locating a photo of a Gloster Meteor, which crashed not to far from where I live. I was amazed by how quickly I got a response with a photo!

So, I wonder if anyone can help again? This time I think it might a bit harder.

I’m looking for a photo of Spitfire Mk 14. RM617, flying with 91 (Nigeria) Squadron RAF, based at West Malling. This aircraft was lost in a crash on June 25, 1944, killing the young Australian pilot.

Again, any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.
