does anyone know the color scheme the spitfire MK IX had during the egypt campaign? i believe around 1946 and i think the top and fuselage were two tone brown while the bottom of wing was two tone blue. pics would be great!!!

green/gray uppers, light gray lowers.

The Egyptian Spitfires were delivered in standard RAF camo, green/gray uppers, light gray lowers. As a result, the Israelis, British and Egyptians all flew aircraft in the same colors, which led to endless confusion (and numerous fatal mistakes on all sides.)
