Yes, Mark, the owners told me the engine was complete and back with them (in an interesting green colour). The restoration shop assembling the wings captions the project as a Spitfire Vc for some reason.

Leading edges/box spar assemblies supplied from the UK.
Wings now under final construction/assembly in New Zealand.
Engine reported on rebuild, or perhaps now completed, with a noted facility.
About half way there then. 🙂

Hi BentBlue,I emailed Peter Croser just before xmas to ask how the rebuild was progressing,to date I have not had a reply.The last email I received from him discussed work continuing on the wings after their receipt of the spars & leading edges.Maybe Setter has some more info(calling Setter,come in please)regards,Pete
