They aren’t in great condition, so cant be used in anger again. I would suggest about £200 for the pair – but you might do well on ebay.

Paul,
Thanks for the confirmation of what they came off. They came from a blacksmith/machinery manufacturer called Linton from Sutton Coldfield, he used a lot of exmiliarity wheels and axles to make agricultural trailers and equipment.
What value would you put on them?

Andrew,
They are indeed Spitfire 10.25 inch diameter main wheels, type A.H.10019 (and as confirmed by your sketch), and mentioned above by the late Edgar Brooks.
Do you know how he procured them?
Cheers
Paul

Evening all, I am trying to find more information on these wheels(believed to be spit/ hurri)
They were used to make a trailer in the early 60’s by my father who was farming just North of Birmingham.
I have written down all the stamped numbers on them because they are difficult to read from a photo.
Any information will be greatly received.

i’ve had a look at RAN sea furies and firefly’s and it looks like it may be one of those

The most usual (four-spoke) part no. seems to be A.H.10019, which was also used on the IX, XIV & XVI; also used on the XIV was the A.H.8375, which apparently had a different diameter hub, but used the usual diameter tyre.

Look for a part number. Will be on the outside of the wheel somewhere.
They look more like Sea Fury to me; I am pretty sure they are not Spitfire.
