Gentlemen,
While going through numerous images of the Spitfire Mk VIII I’ve noticed that the voltage regulator is not in evidence in the ‘usual’ location on the rear of the pilots head armour. I’ve tried without success to find where it was relocated to.
I’ve read some vague suggestions that it was relocated to the left fuselage wall adjacent to frame 11, lower down on that same frame and others suggesting the radio compartment but thus far nothing definitive.
So I’d like to ask if any of you could provide me with information as to where it was relocated to please.
Many thanks
Dave

Best to get in touch with the Temora Aviation museum or Meir Motors as they both have Mk VIII’s
