‘Living historians’ -what are they?
Someone who wears a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches, that smells of BO, rather than embalming fluid…..

People who ‘live history’, or in layman’s terms, people wot dress up in old clothes

Excellent looking FSM, what is the event at Hendon BTW?
The Hendon Pageant, a living history festival – WW1 alone there’s going to be about 11 Royal Flying Corps living historians

Actually the first bit maybe true, not sure about the original parts bit though….

‘A faithful alloy reproduction using original drawings and many original parts’
I can almost hear that tripping off an airshow commentators mike as a Spitfire roars overhead!

I believe it has something to do with the war!
BTW, this Spitfire is in a league of it’s own, a faithful all alloy reproduction using original drawings, and many original parts; I believe it is the owners intention to fit the Merlin engine to the airframe at some point.

Quote minimans:” is that a Defender your towing it with? You must leave very early to get there?…………………….
You cheeky b*gg*rs! My Defender 110 will outpace any slant-eyed towing vehicle, and at least keep up with most Discoveries! Stick to Spitfires:)
Beautiful work SS – well done!
