Spitfire over RAF Stanmore ID please

I’m not particularly clued up about the Spitfire population here in the UK and I know there are some very well informed people here on this forum so could someone kindly tell which Spitfire does regular rounds of RAF Bentley Priory near Stanmore.

It performs a 10-15 minute display after which it disappears.. I believe it to be a MkII (possibly the BBMF) Could someone kindly give me more details of which Spit this is.. and who is flying it and if it is the BBMF’s MkII why is always this particular aircraft that comes by.

All information is greatly appreciated! thanks

EDIT: Apologises i just realised that it should have been in the Spotted thread

From the news clips on the TV last night it looked like the BBMF’s MK356.

And I suspect it’ll be the final ever one over Bentley Priory as it was the closing down do last night….:(

Its a BBMF Spitfire but not always the Mk II. The Bentley Priory evening display slot is a regular one for them and they use whichever Spitfire is most convenient. Have alook at the BBMF website and you can see when the next one will be – well worth dropping by if you are local.
