An old aircraft described as being dark colours and having black and white stripes on the wings was seen flying over Knebworth this afternoon. It was recorded on a camera phone but the image is too small. It sounds like a Merlin so I am assuming it was either the BBMF XIX PM631 or Peter Teichman’s XI.
Can anyone confirm which Spitfire it was (or if it was a Spitfire at all!)
Cheers!

IF it was a Merlin, it couldn’t have been a Mark XIX………………
Ok! It’s been a long day!
It was PT out playing
Cheers!
Any idea why he was playing over Knebworth?
