Spitfire P9339, 222 sqn shot down 1 june 1940

From research on another forum it has been suggested that the code was ZD-J’. Have you been able to glean any additional information? Here is a photo of Massey-Sharpe, do you know if he is on the left or the right?

Good evening all,can anyone help with a code letters for the spitfire P9339,
flown by P/O F.G.Massey-Sharp in wich he was shot down on 1 june 1940 near Campagnes les guines (exactly HERMELINGHEN) north of france ?.

Have you got any pictures from the aircraft.
