Hi,
While looking for something else i came across this aircraft and the interesting story that goes with it plus the you tube videos, What i can’t find out is what happened to it after it’s repair.
On September 12th, 1944 World War II pilot John S. Blyth crash landed his Spitfire Mk XI fighter plane at Mount Farm Airbase in Great Britain
Anybody know where it went after and where it ended up is it still around?
Thanks pp.

All I can find is this from http://www.airhistory.org.uk/spitfire/p084.html –
PA944 PRXIT CHA M63 Benson 14-2-44 USAAF 20-4-44 HAL 5-4-45 recat E SOC 13-9-45
CHA being Chattis Hill where it was assembled and HAL being Heston Aircraft Ltd where Spitfires were both repaired and/or kitted out for the PR role.
