over on ebay seller thinks it is Spit but doesnt look “right” Any ideas?

The T+S is a postwar British one. Not that common.

Panel
I don’t know about the panel itself although i have seen similar patterns. The ASI on the top right 480 MPH is correct for the Spitfire as is the turn and slip below it. The climb and descend on the far lower left is post war and used in Meteors and probably other early jets, its the same diameter as the war time version. The 600 Knots is also post war and used in Jets. The T&S looks American but not sure?. So the panel has 2 ASIs and is missing an altimeter and the directional indicator.

This is the relatively rare pressed brass type. Could be fitted to Spitfire, or indeed anything else.
Probably not with those instruments however!

BFP panel…
There are two types of BFP panels on British aircraft,the round topped ones and the rectangular ones.Pretty much universal and I think some Spits had the round topped ones.I reckon they look better anyway.Plus there were a few different contractors who constructed them so thats why you see differences in the panels construction.:D
