Hi everyone,
Purchased this part some years ago, knowing its a spitfire part as on the rear of the mounting plate the part number 35145-233 is stamped which means its something to do with the fuel system, the pipe work seems to be a mixture of specially machioned and AGS parts but was is it for?
Thanking you all

Just been informed that it was used for slipper tanks on Spitfire V onwards and rear fuselage fuel tanks on Mk XIV,MkIX,Mk XVI and other late mark Spitfires/Seafires also the the leading edge tanks for the PR spits .
Thank you to all those who assisted.

Thank you for the above.

Not main tank, as they fit to the bottom of the fuel tank, not onto a bracket.

Thank you Bruce, Have also been told that it was used for main tanks use between frames 7 and 8.

Drop tank fuel c0ck mechanism.
I think for one with rear tanks as well, so Mk XIV, XVI etc.
