Spitfire Parts Value Question

Hi all

Haven’t been on for a while as life threw a couple of curved balls. Anyway, I am off tomorrow to have a look at some Spitfire parts which the owner wishes to sell.

Any idea of what the value would be – ballpark? I will get some pics when I go but they are :

Pair of Legs
U/C Indicator
Control Column (yoke included) believed to be Mk VIII – pic of this included

If anyone can give me a guide I would be most grateful

Cheers

Ewan

£1600 a bit high for a U/C indicator, but I have achieved £1200.

Column – £4500 depending on condition, might be more

Legs in good condition, maybe £10K – but must be largely rust free and complete. Oh, a caveat – if they are the interim link legs as fitted to some Mk VIII, they have limited value.

What’s the ballpark number for a main wheel?

That column must be £2k, undercarriage indicator £500+

Very nice, bit of damage on the column but lovely. Column would equate to a half decent 2 year old car! £1600 seems to be going rate for a good up indicator
