Spitfire projects

Does anyone know anything on the progress with Spitfire XVIs SL542 and TE384?

I remember reading some time ago that TE384 was due to be overhauled to get it to fly again, and SL542 had been sold some time ago to a new owner.

Nice to hear about RN201. Wonder if she shall retain the current scheme? Off to a new owner so a change is a holiday…..

Tried sending you a PM Mr. 12, but your inbox is apparently full.

Yes, and despite all my efforts I cannot empty it since the forum was revised.

Read somewhere that Richard Grace got a XII pending restoration/reconstruction. Any truth to it?

Has there been any news on the proposed rebuilds of Spitfires P9372 and P9373 to airworthy standards?.

Last I heard the remains were on display or in storage

In Post Number One, TE384 a Mk XV1 was mentioned. Any current news on this one. I have a photo of my friend and I standing by this a/c at Syerston c.1956.

The guy that runs the Fighter Collection (somebody grey?) was on comms during the corsair bearcat display and he said that after the CR.42 biplane is finished he thinks they will make a start on the MK22 Spit.
the CR42 has an issue with its prop apparently
