Spitfire propellor blade? confirmation ? value?

I recently bought this prop blade, and with some online investigation found it to be a Spitfire prop blade.
It has a rotol emblem on it as well as the following serial numbering: RA.10046/RS below this a red disc and within the disc: ‘RS'(handwritten),below that a Large stencilled “R” and below that ‘R9233′( handwritten). ‘R9233′( handwritten) also appears on the yellow painted tip of the prop blade.
The blade root regrettably appears to have been sawn off……!
First of all could someone tell me if it actually is a Spitfire prop blade?, what model and year?
And then what would it be worth?
