Spitfire re dig

Here are a couple of pics (having trouble uploading)of a Spitfire re dig in Wales last Saturday. Details of unfortunate pilot and serial after licence requirements sorted out. Lots of airframe although in a corroded state due to it’s previous exposure to the air. There were some very large pieces, including an unusual eight feet of wing leading edge, mainspar, rudder and most of the starboard cockpit side. I’ll do battle with the uploader for more…
