Hi, about 10 years ago there was a Spitfire mk14 advertised for sale in the Flypast classifieds.It was at a place near Knighton Powys and I went to look at it at the time.It had been dug up and was in a lot of empty fertilser bags,I forget the serial number,but I wondered what become of it.Does anyone know?

Well they were a nice shade of blue, so perhaps they have,but seriously perhaps Mark12 may know, as at the time I remember the chap selling it said that he had enquired about it.

No doubt those fertiliser bags have been “restored” to flying codition
