As a new guy on here I find myself asking more questions than giving answers, but does anyone know how the restoration of Spitfire RM689 is coming along? Correct me if I’m wrong but this was the Rolls-Royce Spitfire that crashed in the early ’90’s (?). Then, when Hurricane LF363 crashed, the BBMF sold PS853 to Rolls-Royce as a replacement, and to help balance the costs of the Hurri. Restoration. Is that the right one?
