See what I mean £160- for a priceless piece of heritage ,not a lot when you think that you could build a compete A/C from that piece ,it giving just enough credibility ,to ensure you were the envy of your ….er, ..self !!

T’aint Harvard matey thats why I ask – I know the T-6 series pretty well…

Not much of 248 – a few battered panels thats all, mostly scrap, one panel ebayed and went to Airframe Assys.

The reason I know it was 248 is cos it had an original stencil marking on it (yes I do know the difference between a fake and original :p ) ‘TD248’ in yellow paint….

Thanks anyway guys

Ben, I think you’ll find I might have been a touch facetious !! (yes I had to look it up!!) I’m suprised that you didn’t give me all your spit bits, rather than wasting your time putting them on ebay – they never make anything you know!!

Which bits of TD248? If I know what else was in the box, I might be able to work out where it came from!

Not that I could see Bruce – thing is I think I recognise its distinctive shape…but I dont know where from! Thanks for replying though –

This is from the same parts bin that yielded some bits of TD248, and some Spit canopy parts – although that battery holder is still a mystery to me…
