On the 16 June 2015 the officers of The Spitfire Society announced that the Society is facing closure unless more volunteers to manage it can be found. It is currently being run by three people; the treasurer and two membership secretaries. The former has announced he will be stepping down later this year. The officers would like to hear from people who can assist them in the managment of the society.
