Great video…thanks Mr Mitchell !!

Outstanding and just makes the blood flow faster… what a sight to see this wonderful warbird in the air……. like freedom very much…thanks Mr Mitchell. Love all the great warbird & WW II stuff on Youtube… great stuff here on Spitfires & Mustangs. If any of you guys or gals in the Uk are riding by Bodney…would love to see some video of what the place looks like now. Last there in the mid 90’s……… was hoping someone might save the old control tower at the home of the 352nd !!!! Thanks for posting this great video of the Spit in action. Would be nice if Channel 4 would allow its great production ” Spitfire Ace” on to the dvd market for Christmas !!!! hint..hint !!!

No he doesnt own it. The person who has bought it already has 4 or 5 spits. Cant say who coz i’m not sure if it’s common knowlage. Wouldnt mind betting that peter will get to fly her though.

As far as i’m aware Peter acted as front man for the new owner of the T8. Maybe next year Peter you could fly TA805 to its birth place ,ie I O W, (well second time around).

As far as i’m aware Peter acted as front man for the new owner of the T8. Maybe next year Peter you could fly TA805 to its birth place ,ie I O W, (well second time around).

Yes it was John Romain who flew that display, He also picked up the Brietling Trophy for best Solo display for his efforts…Very much deserved!

The excellent Biggin Hill 2007 DVD is available at www.ta805.co.uk (cheap plug I know!) 😮 as well as other Kent Spitfire goodies!

Nice video there off the Kent Spitfire cant wait to see it next year here another video with in cockpit action 😎 btw Is it Peter Monk that has brought a Spitfire T8 G-ADIN? another Kent spitfire maybe 😀

Great video this from the Biggin Hill airshow DVD. It was a lovely display and when I get round to it Im going to post up my version of the very same display filmed in HD from a different perspective.
