"Spitfire" tail wheels for auction

I have noticed this auction.

Anyone able to offer an opinion as to what aircraft these items could be from?

My neighbour has two spitfire tail wheels on his welding trolley and two anson wheels on a farm trailer they came from a crash near the village i live in. Its suprising whats still out there working for a living after all these years.

Any chance you can ask them for the numbers AC?

I had a couple of real spit ones, were given to me, but gave them back in the end, they went to go on a couple of statics that were in desperate need of one each.

It certainly looks like a Spitfire tailwheel – difficult to say for sure without the numbers….
